Being Innovative

Isn’t the biggest problem with the changing of seasons the feeling that you neeeeed to go get a new seasonal wardrobe?!  If there’s one thing I can count on through the ups and downs and crazy transitions of weather in Dallas it’s this feeling.  So I’ve been cleaning out my closet and if I haven’t worn it in the last year-out it goes!  Then I’m taking out pieces that could be altered and taking them to a taylor to make a new seasonal piece in the wardrobe.  Or making mental notes of what pieces could make a great outfit if I had a few other key pieces to flow with it. Then I’m doing the majority of my searching online or in thrift stores.  Some of my absolute favorite pieces of clothing came from thrift store finds.

So if you have a secret shopping tip, I’d love to hear it.  I’m not that girl who can go shopping for hours, I like to know what I want and go and get it-end of story. But often I end up buying in a hurry in my rush to get something I need in the moment and don’t buy wisely, so any tips would be much appreciated.  Great thrift stores in north DFW metroplex or great online stores you’ve had great success with.  Share away!  Happy Wednesday to you all!
