Quarantine: Week 2
Let’s be the people who hand out hope like candy. Sweeten the world with good news. Brighten a day with a smile. See the glass half full. Take action when others are fleeing.
Whatever level of hope you have, it can still grow amidst this storm. Water it with the Word. The testimonies of thousands of years where God flipped horrible situations and circumstances on their head are waiting to declared, “God, do it again!” Lions suddenly silent in a den with a man named Daniel. Fires not burning up three men thrown into them. Governmental decrees to wipe out a nation of people suddenly turned around for a woman named Esther. A giant no man would fight goes down by a small boy swinging a stone in a sling. Drought ravages a land, but one widow‘s flour and oil don’t run out until rain comes again. And the testimonies go on and on and on. These are our inheritance stories.
So I’m not sure what you need today – a job, rent money, groceries, healing physically, breakthrough in your marriage or with your kids, whatever it is – I guarantee there’s still hope! Here’s a few of my favorite reminders and if I can put some hope and courage in you, DM and I’d be happy to!
Rom 5:5 – This hope will not disappoint, for we know how dearly He loves us.
Lam 3:21 (-24) Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this, the faithful love of the Lord never ends.
Heb 10:23 – Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
