“Courage, a strong desire to live taking on the form of a readiness to die.” Author unknown
Courage isn’t and never has looked like perfection. It often looks like the risk of failure. We learn more from failure than perfection, so we should really all just quit trying so hard at the perfection part – it’s a delusional reality anyways. Let’s try harder at the living courageously part instead!
Courage is simply putting on your rightful identity and staring risk straight in the face and daring to learn from whatever lies ahead. History tells the stories of courageous failures, who risked playing life safe and perfect to follow God into the unknown.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?” Ps. 27:1
